Kristof Segers had increased his stack to seven figures without showdown while Lian An Jian got a three-bet jam through against Hyungil Jang.

Jian then raised to get called by Segers and Jang. On the J ♦️ 8 ♦️ 4 ♦️ flop, it checked to Jian and his bet of 25,000 was called only by Segers. Jian checked the 4 ♣️ turn and Segers leaned out of his seat before moving all-in only to get snapped off.

Hyungil Jang three-bet to 75,000 and then faced the cold four-bet shove by Charles Tsai in the next seat, which he called after all other players had folded.

Pao Hsuan Hsu raised to 24,000 and Jihun Baek then jammed out of the blinds for the last 110,000 - fewer than ten full big blinds. After getting an exact count, Hsu flicked in a chip for the call.

Pao Hsuan Hsu in the small blind announced a bet of 190,000 after much deliberation with the board sghowing Q ♣️ 8 ♣️ 5 ♥️ Q ♠️ J ♣️ when the flop flush draw got there.

That sent Jihun Baek in early position into a brief tank before he called.

Hsu tabled the 5 ♣️ 5 ♠️ for fives full and Baek mucked the Q ♦️ face-up.

Kristof Segers

At the end of the level, Kai Cheng Hsu three-bet to 65,000 and Kristof Segers as the initial raiser called.

They checked the K ♠️ J ♣️ 6 ♠️ flop to the J ♦️ turn. Segers bet 55,000 and Hsu called.

Segers then bet the 9 ♣️ river for 175,000 and Hsu used one time bank before he folded.

Soon after, the blinds went up to 6,000-12,000/12,000 to bring the average down to "only" 44 big blinds.

In a small pot all the way to the J ♣️ 5 ♦️ :3c. K ♣️ Q ♠️ river, Hyungil Jang bet 75,000 out of the big blind. Kai Cheng Hsu on the button used a time bank before he called and then mucked when Jang tabled his J ♥️ J ♠️ for a slow-played set of jacks.

Harry Halim raised to 20,000 and Pao Hsuan Hsu as well as Hyungil Jang on the button called. Jihun Baek in the big blind squeezed to 110,000 and forced folds.

Soon after, Hsu defended against Baek and check-called one bet on the J ♦️ 10 ♥️ 4 ♣️ flop before he check-folded the A ♠️ turn when Baek increased his sizing to 35,000.

On the tail end of a board showing 8 ♥️ 4 ♥️ 3 ♦️ 2 ♥️ 7 ♣️ , Charles Tsai had checked out of the blinds. Sin Lan Chen bet 120,000 from middle position and Tsai used one time bank before he called.

Chen tabled her A ♦️ 5 ♦️ for the wheel to win the pot and further climb out of the danger zone.

Sin Lan Chen pushed for 122,000 from under the gun with the 8 ♠️ 8 ♣️ and Shi Yang Chien called one seat over with the marginally covering stack, exposing the A ♣️ Q ♣️ when everyone else had folded.

The pocket pair held on the 9 ♥️ 6 ♦️ 4 ♥️ 5 ♣️ 8 ♥️ runout.

Chien then jammed 2.5 blinds first to act, Chen called in the big blind.

The fall from grace for the chip leader at the end of the registration period is complete.

Chuang Lin Cheng got it in preflop with A ♦️ 7 ♥️ against the A ♠️ K ♠️ of Kai Cheng Hsu and the kicker played on the J ♣️ J ♥️ 8 ♠️ J ♠️ 4 ♣️ runout to reduce the field to the final 10 players.

The clock had already changed to the new level by the time Kai Cheng Hsu bet the 9 ♣️ 6 ♠️ 6 ♦️ 2 ♦️ turn for 24,000. Lian An Jian called and they headed to the 7 ♦️ on the river.

Hsu used one time bank and bet 65,000, Jian used a time bank as well and opted to fold.

Hyungil Jang

With three shorter stacks clinging to their tournament life over on table one, Kristof Segers has been building massive pots left and right. Hyungil Jang was involved once again and bet the Q ♠️ 8 ♥️ 7 ♦️ 7 ♠️ turn for 100,000. Segers min-raised and Jang called all-in.

"I am running hot," Kristof Segers re-affirmed once more and that came moments after he had taken a flip to send Chuyi Huang to the rail, boosting his stack to seven figures once more.

Moments later, Anton Lu followed from the other table. He was left short after conceding a pot to Harry Halim and then called a small blind shove by Guo Jin Zeng with the A ♦️ 10 ♣️ . Zeng had just Qd: 5 ♠️ but got there on the 7 ♣️ 5 ♣️ 4 ♦️ 3 ♣️ J ♦️ runout.

However, in the blink of an eye, Zeng then busted to Halim and they were down to eleven already.

Kristof Segers opened to 16,000 and Hyungil Jang then three-bet to 40,000 in the big blind, which Segers called after brief consideration. They checked to the K ♣️ K ♥️ 5 ♦️ J ♦️ K ♦️ river on which Jang bet 30,000 and forced a fold.

Some ten minutes into the new level after the break, another three players were eliminated to bring the field down to the last 14 hopefuls.

Harry Halim three-bet big to 80,000 from the small blind and Fang Li Ying then called for less, initial raiser Charles Tsai folded.

Kristof Segers actually lost an all-in and the rapid downfall of Chuang Lin Cheng also continued when the early big chip leader got it in with A ♦️ 7 ♦️ against the A ♥️ J ♥️ of Hyungil Jang.

The 7 ♥️ 10 ♠️ 10 ♥️ J ♣️ 3 ♥️ board gave Jang the flush for the double prior to the next 15-minute break.

Harry Halim

Following a min-raise and two callers, Harry Halim on the button squeezed to 60,000. It folded to Kozo Yamada who eventually pushed all-in from the hijack. Halim asked for a count on the shove which was for 206,500.

Halim eventually called all-in for 164,500 and the cards went on their backs.

Mikkon Kim jammed the A ♣️ 4 ♠️ into the red-hot running Kristof Segers who had an easy call with the K ♣️ K ♦️ . The 7 ♥️ 6 ♠️; 4 ♦️ 9 ♣️ 6 ♦️ board brought no upset and the final two tables were set.

Kanghee Kim didn't even make it there, because his last all-in with A ♠️ 5 ♠️ against the A ♥️ 5 ♥️ of Kai Cheng Hsu saw a runout of 8 ♣️ 6 ♦️ 6 ♥️ 2 ♥️ 4 ♥️ for the runner-runner flush.

Down to the last 17, six will advance.

Kristof Segers

On the river of a 7 ♣️ 7 ♠️ 3 ♦️ 3 ♠️ 9 ♥️ board, Hirohito Marunaka in the big blind bet 40,000. Kristof Segers then raised to 100,000 from under the gun and Marunaka reluctantly called.

Segers tabled the A ♥️ 7 ♦️ for sevens full of treys and Marunaka briefly exposed his 9 ♦️ 6 ♦️ . The dealer made sure Marunaka had enough to pay off the raise and he was down to two big blinds after, which he lost to Segers in the very next hand.

Chih Feng Li also bowed out from table three and that brought the field down to the last 19 hopefuls.

Charles Tsai

Chuyi Huang bet the 9 ♠️ 9 ♦️ 7 ♥️ 2 ♠️ turn for 76,000 out of the big blind and Charles Tsai called from under the gun. Huang checked the Q ♥️ river and then folded to a shove for Tsai to win the pot.

Kanghee Kim

Kanghee Kim pushed for 53,000 - just shy of nine big blinds - from the cutoff and was looked up by Sin Lan Chen in the small blind.

Pao Hsuan Hsu with the A ♦️ K ♥️ and Charles Tsai holding the A ♥️ K ♠️ got their chips into the middle preflop. The board ran out K ♦️ 4 ♠️ 4 ♥️ 8 ♥️ 5 ♦️ and they chopped it up.

Kotaro Nakayama had been the last casualty prior to that to leave 21 players in contention with the top six set to advance to the money stages.

Hirohito Marunaka squeezed to 34,000 preflop and then reluctantly called the shove by Guo Jin Zeng for 155,500, which represented a big portion of his stack.

Taiwan resident Kristof Segers was on the final table of Flight A yesterday but bowed out before reaching the money. Things have been going a lot better for him today and especially in the last few minutes as he jumped to a very healthy stack.

In the latest hand, he looked up the short stack all-in of Li Wei Wang as follows.

There is more buzz in the room right now as Flight B of the Main Event is down to the final 24 players spread across three tables, though the noise comes from the Accumulator Event which is on the bubble for the penultimate flight.

Shi Rong Wang tried to burst it and Hung Cheng Lin even celebrated too early for what would have been his third cash and second NT$ 25,000 bonus of the tournament. Jun An Lin was at risk with A ♣️ 9 ♠️ versus Wang's 9 ♦️ 8 ♣️ but dodged the straight draw on the K ♠️ 10 ♠️ 7 ♥️ 2 ♦️ Q ♦️ board.

At the same time, Flight G has kicked off a few minutes ago with two tables running.

Titan Stack Boosted Guarantee

For the second time during this festival at the Asia Poker Arena in Taipei City, the guaranteed prize pool of the NT$ 11,000 Titan Stack Daily has been boosted. On Wednesday September 24, the bargain low stakes tournament will feature three flights at 1.30 p.m. , 4.30 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. local time respectively with a new NT$ 2 Million guarantee.

That's double of what the single flight editions had so far throughout the series and all three starting flights have a deep-structured start with two and a half hours of play until the end of the registration period. From there on, the levels will last 25 minutes each before playing down to the money with the top 13.5% each set to advance.

For every spot in the money, a Main Event seat worth NT$ 33,000 will be deducted from the prize pool and awarded thereafter. The Final Day will restart based on the blind level where the lowest completed flight ended up to a maximum average of 50 blig blinds.

Kozo Yamada

The chips went in preflop over on table three between Kozo Yamada and Fang Li Ying with the former at risk for just shy of the starting stack.

Yamada's K ♦️ K ♠️ were trying to dodge aces versus A ♣️ Q ♦️and the 9 ♦️ 6 ♣️ 2 ♠️ Q ♣️ 6 ♦️ runout achieved that feat.

Lester Edoc

After he had lost most of his stack right away, Lester Edoc three-bet jammed for the last 16,500 in the cutoff. Kotaro Nakayama in the big blind called as did the initial raiser Chuyi Huang.

On the A ♥️ 6 ♠️ 3 ♦️ flop, Nakayama check-folded to a bet of 10,000 by Huang.

Kosuke Ito raised to 8,000 and Masaki Saito then jammed for 96,000. Hirohito Marunaka went all-in over the top and Ito folded.

Several players jumped in at the last minute to boost the Flight B field to 39 entries of which 29 remain including Lester Edoc, Charles Tsai, Anton Lu, Kozo Yamada, and Tomo Miyagi.

Edoc was caught with a move when he bet the 9 ♠️ 8 ♥️ 4 ♣️ flop and was then priced in to call the all-in of Chuyi Huang with K ♥️ 7 ♠️ . That was actually ahead versus J ♥️ 10 ♠️ but the 5 ♠️ turn and Q ♠️ river gave Huang the double via straight.

The third level of the day has come to an end with some 33 total entries and among those with more than the starting stack at their disposal is Taiwan's Fang Li Ying. He jammed the last hand of level three with the board showing queen-high. Sin Lan Chen reluctantly folded and was shown 3 ♣️ 3 ♥️ for a flopped set of treys.

Chuang Lin Cheng

With the flop showing J ♦️ 10 ♣️ :8s; , Mikkon Kim checked and then called a bet of 9,000 by the current run-away chip leader Chuang Lin Cheng. Kim check-called another 30,000 on the 9 ♦️ turn and the J ♥️ river was checked.

Kim tabled the A ♦️ 6 ♦️ and Cheng took the pot with the 3 ♠️ 3 ♥️ for two pair.

Man Hin Siu

Chi Jen Chen was seen on the way out of the tournament area and on his former table, Man Hin Siu raised from under the gun. Jihun Baek three-bet to 30,000 from the big blind and Siu reluctantly called.

On the J ♣️ 7 ♠️ 4 ♥️ flop, Baek bet 21,000 but folded when Siu pushed all-in.

Hyungil Jang

On the river of a J ♠️ 9 ♥️ 2 ♥️ 6 ♠️ 3 ♠️ board, Hyungil Jang checked in the hijack with 51,500 behind. There were 55,000 in the middle and Sin Lan Chen on the button overbet far more than that. Jang reluctantly called all-in with A ♠️ J ♦️ and earned the double, as Chen's Q ♦️ 10 ♦️ had missed the open-ender.

On the tail end of a K ♦️ Q ♠️ 5 ♥️ 2 ♠️ 3 ♣️ board, Chi Jen Chen checked out of the small blind and then faced a bet of 39,000 by Shi Yang Chien. Two time banks later, Chen called and mucked when he was shown the Q ♥️ Q ♣️ for a set of queens.

Sin Lan Chen

Three ways to the Q ♥️ 6 ♥️ 3 ♥️ flop, the action checked to Lian An Jian and he bet 6,000. Only Sin Lan Chen check-called and did so again for 12,000 on the 4 ♦️ turn. After the 10 ♠️ river, Chen check-called for 15,000 and Jian briefly flashed his cards including the 7 ♦️ but could not beat Chen's A ♣️ 6 ♣️ .

Kanghee Kim

Kanghee Kim bet the K ♥️ 10 ♦️ 9 ♥️ flop for 5,000 and Hyungil Jang raised to 10,000 which Kim called. Both checked the 5 ♥️ turn and the A ♦️ river saw Kim bet 20,000. Jang sent his cards into the muck and his fellow Korean claimed the pot.

Out of a field of 18 entries, only 13 players remain and several of the early casualties opted to re-enter right away. Leading the way so far with more than two and a half times the starting stack is Chuang Lin Cheng, who happened to be the very first player on Flight A to be eliminated from this tournament.

On his table, Man Hin Siu doubled through Kosuke Ito for 64,000 when they got it in after the 10 ♠️ 8 ♠️ 8 ♦️ flop. Ito's J ♠️ J ♣️ were behind versus Q ♠️ 8 ♥️ for trips eights, the 5 ♥️ turn and 5 ♠️ river gave Siu eights full of fives.

Flight B of the NT$ 33,000 Main Event is currently underway with two tables running and there are currently 11 players out of 15 entries remaining with that tally to increase until the end of the late registration period at 6.15 p.m. local time.

In the meanwhile, Flight F of the Accumulator Event has reached level eight with 72 players out of 137 entries still in contention. The penultimate flight has been the far strongest so far to bring the overall field size to 394 entries, but that only covers around two thirds of the NT$ 3 Million guarantee in this bargain extra value tournament of the series.

Flight G is the only chance to still enter as of 7 p.m. local time and the late registration will officially close at 9.45 p.m. local time. If you aren't waiting in line and jump down the stairs to the Asia Poker Arena, you will not be allowed to jump in at the last minute.

The NT$ 220,000 Super High Roller has already crowned a winner and it was Dutch live poker veteran who entered as the chip leader and closed the victory in a hurry after knocking out Harry Halim and Rudy Edenata along the way. They all jumped into a NT$ 38,500 Single Day High Roller as well in which Hollink is still left in contention with 7 players out of 15 entries remaining and the top three spots are paid.

At half past noon local time, the Asia Poker Arena will hopefully be buzzing with poker enthusiasts from near and far for Day 6 of the Gods of Poker The Trial of Wisdom.

The remaining two flights of the bargain NT$ 5,500 Accumulator Event await and so far, only 257 entries have emerged in the NT$ 3 Million guaranteed low-stakes tournament to make it one of the most valuable events of the entire schedule.

Flight F has cards in the air at 12.30 p.m. local time and will close at 3.15 p.m. whereas Flight G is the last chance to jump in as of 7 p.m. local time with the final call to enter at 9.45 p.m. local time.

While all of that madness may be unfolding, the second of five starting flights of the flagship NT$ 33,000 GOP Taipei II Main Event is also taking place as well with it's pristine Cronus Structure that comes with a very deep-stacked affair during the three levels of late registration.

Level 1 last 60 minutes each with blinds of 500-1,000/1,000 (120 bb) before the next two levels last 120 minutes each - that's right, two hours! Level 2 has blinds of 1,000-2,000/2,000 (60 bb) before moving up to 1,500-3,000/3,000 (40 bb). When the registration closes at 6.15 p.m. local time, all those jumping in still get 30 big blinds worth and the levels then last 40 minutes each.

The action is slated to play down to the top 13.5% of the field which lasted until 1.45 a.m. local time last night after a very long and tense bubble period. However, the blinds for Day 2 are slated to roll back to 8,000-16,000/16,000 so even the shorter stacks have plenty of room to navigate still.

Daeyoung Park is the man to beat overall with 1,559,000, which is more than 12 times the starting stack of 120,000. Will anyone be able to beat that figure today? We shall see, as the GOP live reporting team is going to pick up the action as of the third level of play.

What else is happening today? The NT$ 220,000 Super High Roller will see three players return to battle for their slice of the NT$ 2,134,000 prize pool with NT$ 1,067,000 reserved for the eventual champion.

The action recommences at 12.30 p.m. local time with an average of 55 big blinds and Rob Hollink leads the way with 645,000 in chips. GOP gauntlet winner Rudy Edenata is in second with 435,000, joined by fellow Indonesian Harry Halim with 240,000.

Single Day High Roller tournaments are available at price tags of NT$ 38,500, NT$ 27,500, and NT$ 19,800 whereas Big O, the NLH Midday Mid-Stakes and a NT$ 7,700 Main Event satellite are also on today's menu as well.
