At half past noon local time, the Asia Poker Arena will hopefully be buzzing with poker enthusiasts from near and far for Day 6 of the Gods of Poker The Trial of Wisdom.
The remaining two flights of the bargain NT$ 5,500 Accumulator Event await and so far, only 257 entries have emerged in the NT$ 3 Million guaranteed low-stakes tournament to make it one of the most valuable events of the entire schedule.
Flight F has cards in the air at 12.30 p.m. local time and will close at 3.15 p.m. whereas Flight G is the last chance to jump in as of 7 p.m. local time with the final call to enter at 9.45 p.m. local time.
While all of that madness may be unfolding, the second of five starting flights of the flagship NT$ 33,000 GOP Taipei II Main Event is also taking place as well with it's pristine Cronus Structure that comes with a very deep-stacked affair during the three levels of late registration.
Level 1 last 60 minutes each with blinds of 500-1,000/1,000 (120 bb) before the next two levels last 120 minutes each - that's right, two hours! Level 2 has blinds of 1,000-2,000/2,000 (60 bb) before moving up to 1,500-3,000/3,000 (40 bb). When the registration closes at 6.15 p.m. local time, all those jumping in still get 30 big blinds worth and the levels then last 40 minutes each.
The action is slated to play down to the top 13.5% of the field which lasted until 1.45 a.m. local time last night after a very long and tense bubble period. However, the blinds for Day 2 are slated to roll back to 8,000-16,000/16,000 so even the shorter stacks have plenty of room to navigate still.
Daeyoung Park is the man to beat overall with 1,559,000, which is more than 12 times the starting stack of 120,000. Will anyone be able to beat that figure today? We shall see, as the GOP live reporting team is going to pick up the action as of the third level of play.

What else is happening today? The NT$ 220,000 Super High Roller will see three players return to battle for their slice of the NT$ 2,134,000 prize pool with NT$ 1,067,000 reserved for the eventual champion.
The action recommences at 12.30 p.m. local time with an average of 55 big blinds and Rob Hollink leads the way with 645,000 in chips. GOP gauntlet winner Rudy Edenata is in second with 435,000, joined by fellow Indonesian Harry Halim with 240,000.
Single Day High Roller tournaments are available at price tags of NT$ 38,500, NT$ 27,500, and NT$ 19,800 whereas Big O, the NLH Midday Mid-Stakes and a NT$ 7,700 Main Event satellite are also on today's menu as well.
