Player Branding & Sponsorship Guidelines
These guidelines apply to all Gods of Poker events and are intended to balance player sponsorship opportunities with the professional presentation, integrity, and operational requirements of the tournament.
1. Accessibility
Players using wheelchairs or other mobility devices may request preferred seating for their initial table assignment. After play begins, all seat changes and table balancing will follow standard tournament procedures.
2. Mobility Equipment Branding
Sponsor branding on wheelchairs or mobility devices is permitted, provided it:
- Is professionally applied.
- Does not obstruct dealers, cameras, staff, or other players.
- Does not create a safety hazard or excessive distraction.
- Complies with these branding guidelines.
Because mobility devices vary in size, no fixed dimensions apply. GOP may require modifications if branding is considered unsuitable.
3. Apparel Branding
Players may wear sponsor branding during tournament play.
Maximum permitted branding:
- Front of shirt: Up to two patches, each no larger than 6 sq. in. (39 cm²)
- Sleeves: One patch per sleeve, each up to 6 sq. in. (39 cm²)
- Hat/Cap: One logo up to 4 sq. in. (26 cm²)
- Back of shirt/jacket: One professionally applied logo or graphic
Branding must be embroidered, printed, heat pressed, or otherwise professionally affixed. Loose or detachable advertising is not permitted.
4. Approved Sponsors
The following poker-related sponsors are generally permitted:
- Live poker tours and series
- Online poker operators
- Casinos and poker clubs
- Poker media and training platforms
- Poker apparel and gaming accessory brands
Non-poker commercial sponsors require prior written approval from GOP.
5. Restricted Branding
The following are prohibited:
- Offensive or unlawful content
- Illegal products or services
- Intellectual property infringements
- Branding implying official affiliation with Gods of Poker
- Branding that conflicts with event, venue, broadcast, or exclusive sponsorship agreements
6. Feature Table & Live Stream
Additional branding restrictions may apply on live-streamed feature tables. GOP may require branding to be covered, repositioned, or removed to comply with broadcast, legal, or commercial requirements.
7. Commercial Rights
Player sponsorship does not constitute an official partnership with Gods of Poker. Sponsors may not represent themselves as official GOP partners without a separate written agreement.
8. Final Approval
Players are encouraged to submit branding materials in advance for review. Gods of Poker reserves the right to approve, reject, modify, or require the removal of any branding at its sole discretion to protect tournament operations, broadcast standards, venue requirements, and the integrity of the event.
