With Flight D having determined the 29 survivors, the action of this heat is over and the final chip counts will be available on the Gods of Poker website shortly. Ravn Teo is the new overall chip leader with a massive stack of 2,735,000 and it remains to be seen whether or not anyone will be able to top that in the Turbo Heat F.

That one is already in level six with blinds of 3,000-6,000/6,000 and there are some 90 players remaining. They will play down to the top 23 finishers to set the stage for tomorrow's Day 2.

We will now have a gander through the Asia Poker Arena for Flight E and the final update there will provide the action for both flights later tonight.

Kazuki Fukuda and Ravn Teo

Ravn Teo raised to 110,000 and then called the shove by Kazuki Fukuda for 440,000 out of the big blind.

Once all other tables had finished their hands, the cards were revealed.

Kazuki Fukuda: A ♦️ J ♠️

Ravn Teo: A ♥️ K ♠️

"King on the flop," Seongjin Kim predicted and the window card was the K ♣️ . It was followed by the J ♠️ 6 ♦️ and both had found their kicker. Fukuda picked up some outs to potentially survive when the 10 ♣️ turn brought a gutshot. However, the 4 ♦️ river was a blank and that let the Flight D bubble burst.

Flight D Off to a Solid Start

By Christian Zetzsche

A couple of minutes into level three, the clock shows 85 players out of 102 entries remaining for the penultimate starting flight and this level lasts a full two hours during which players will aim to improve upon their 120,000 starting stack. The late registration and re-entry period is open until 5 p.m. local time after which everyone else can only enter Flight E as of 6 p.m. local time.

Some of the big names in contention early on are Chen-An Lin, Vinay B, Jonty O'Brien, Daniel Leung, and Macau's Ka Fai Lam.

In the Titan Stack Boosted Edition, the 27 players to begin with have been culled down to the last 11 hopefuls including Dakota Anderson.

It's an interesting day for low and mid-stakes poker players that comes with a big opportunity on a holiday in Taiwan. The sixth edition of the Gods of Poker live tour at the Asia Poker Arena is bracing for impact as the flagship NT$ 33,000 Main Event only bolsters 145 entries heading into the final two flights on Friday, September 25, 2026. However, nearly 600 total entries are needed to reach the NT$ 17 Million guarantee.

Through three satellites and the Titan Stack Boosted Edition, more than 70 entries will be added to the tally but a significant overlay is still looming and it will likely go down to the wire today.

Flight D is the first one to kick off at 12.30 p.m. local time and features the improved Cronus Structure. Two levels of 60 minutes each are followed by one 120-minute level and when the registration closes at 5 p.m. local time, all entrants at the last minute will enter with 30 big blinds as they receive 120,000 in chips to enter their journey.

Flight E then follows as of 6 p.m. local time with the same four hours of deep-stacked play before the registration for the crown jewel closes at 10.30 p.m. sharp. One minute too late and you will not be able to enter anymore. Getting in early and running up a healthy stack has actually been the key in the first three flights in order to advance to Day 2, but not all of the early front runners reached the top 13.5% of their fields in the three flights so far.

Here is what will get you the most play:

Level 1: 60 minutes at 500-1,000/1,000 (120 bb)
Level 2: 60 minutes at 1,000-2,000/2,000 (60 bb)
Level 3: 120 minutes at 1,5,000-3,000/3,000 (40 bb)

In the penultimate flight, the levels after the late registration last 30 minutes each whereas the final turbo heat then concludes with a 20-minute duration. No matter where both of these heats reach the money, the blinds for Day 2 will roll back to 8,000-16,000/16,000 and 21 players have qualified so far across the three flights.

All 27 players out of 186 entries in the NT$ 11,000 Titan Stack Boosted Edition have locked up a cash prize and Main Event seat to enter the fray later. Bargain chances to win your seat are two satellites with 15 seats each guaranteed at 1 p.m. (3.15 p.m. end of reg) and 5 p.m. (7.15 p.m. end of reg) with a buy-in of just NT$ 3,500. Yesterday's edition had an overlay of more than 30% to get the ball rolling.

The Gods of Poker live reporting team will focus on Flight D as of the third level of play and once the bubble has burst, keep an eye on the final flight as well.
