Yi Cheng Lo stunned
Painful did not even begin to describe Yi Cheng Lo’s exit from the GOP Incheon Main Event. Throughout the final table Lo maintained one of the biggest stacks until a brutal cooler brought his run to an end in 3rd place.
The hand opened with a limp from Lo out of the small blind, Kyung Min Lee raised to 735,000 out of the big blind, then Lo called.
Both players headed to a flop of 8 ♥️ 3 ♦️ 2 ♥️ where Lee continued for 555,000 and Lo check-called to bring the 9 ♥️ on the turn.
No more checking from Lo as he led out for 850,000. Lee answered with a raise to 2,000,000 and Lo called, inflating the pot to a massive 8,300,000 (34 big blinds).
As soon as the river fell 5 ♦️, Lo checked once more. Lee sized up Lo’s remaining stack before moving all in.
Covered by Lee, Lo tossed forward all of his time banks and went deep into the tank. It didn't take him long to decide to call for his tournament life only to be shown A ♣️ 4 ♣️ for a rivered straight - a sick two-outer caught on the river.
In disbelief, Lo flicked his A ♥️ 8 ♣️ to the middle and walk away wobbly and stunned.

Dong Yan: A ♦️ 9 ♦️
With Yamamoto's tournament life on the line, he needed only to fade an ace. However, the board was all Yan A ♣️ 3 ♦️ 2 ♦️ 5 ♠️ 5 ♦️ with a top pair on the flop and nut flush on the river.
Yamamoto has had a fantastic run at the series with a title at the GOP Olympians, title at the Hyper Turbo High Roller, and now a deep run at the Main Event in 9th place. Congratulations on his strong run!
