Ryoma Yamamoto all in
After several big hands dealt with no action, the first all in showdown happened on just the fourth hand of the final table with Dong Yan raising 200,000 then calling Ryoma Yamamoto's shove of just eight big blinds.
Ryoma Yamamoto: Q ♠️ Q ♦️
Dong Yan: A ♦️ 9 ♦️
With Yamamoto's tournament life on the line, he needed only to fade an ace. However, the board was all Yan A ♣️ 3 ♦️ 2 ♦️ 5 ♠️ 5 ♦️ with a top pair on the flop and nut flush on the river.
Yamamoto has had a fantastic run at the series with a title at the GOP Olympians, title at the Hyper Turbo High Roller, and now a deep run at the Main Event in 9th place. Congratulations on his strong run!
