Day 2 Recap
The GOP Main Event resumed with 41 players returning to NagaWorld Phnom Penh, each one hunting down a final 9 berth. With the average quite deep, bust outs were slow with short stacks dropping. Alfie Adam went out in 34th place but later padded his POS points with a side event win.
Miyoung Cho delivered a sick bad beat to Manabu Sato, cracking aces with a turned set of tens. Series multi-winner Rindra Norodom fell in 31st place, eliminated by Feng Yang on a double bust with Daijiro Fukuoka.

Feng Yang
By the time the field trimmed to two tables, Yang led the chase after a huge double up through Rohit with pocket Kings over pocket Queens. Not so fortunate for Titan Stack High Roller gauntlet champion, Gustavo Campos, who was sent packing in 16th place by Vage Vaganian.
It was at this time that Kunal Patni began his ascent, taking the lead at his table. He picked up several pots without a showdown then surged further ahead after eliminating Takuma Terada in 12th place with pocket Aces over pocket Nines.

Peng Sen Wu
Peng Sen Wu took command as well at his table and cleaned out Fabian Rolli in 15th place. To close out Day 2, Yang eliminated Qi Li in 10th place to set the final table of nine players.
