Stacked Prizes Await as GOP x RPT Mini Main Opens Today

The Gods of Poker Taipei: The Titan Assembly gets back underway today, Friday, January 16, with another full slate of trophies and titles on the line at the CTP Asia Poker Arena. One event not to be missed is the GOP x RPT Mini Main, carrying a NT$ 2,500,000 (~US$ 79,000) guaranteed prize pool.

Setting it apart from the rest of the series, the Mini Main delivers a truly stacked champion’s haul. In addition to the title, the winner will receive:

• Royal Poker Tour trophy and GOP Spartan trophy
• RPT Championship II Main Event package valued at US$ 2,000, which includes a Main Event seat worth US$ 850, five nights of hotel accommodation, and cash on arrival (NT$ 25,000, converted to VND)

*The RPT Championship II Main Event takes place at the Royal Poker Club in Hanoi Vietnam from March 24 to 28. The event features a VND 7 Billion (~US$ 265,000) guarantee. 

The collaboration between Gods of Poker and Royal Poker Club highlights a shared vision of building community and delivering poker at its most accessible and entertaining level. Players will have four starting flights to choose from, all taking place today, with a NT$ 15,000 (~US$ 475) buy-in.

Flight Schedule

• Flight A: starts at 12:30 PM - Level 1 (40 min blinds), Level 2 (80 min blinds, Level 3 onwards (30 min blinds)
• Flight B: starts at 3:30 PM - Level 1 (30 min blinds), Level 2 (50 min blinds, Level 3 onwards (20 min blinds)
• Flight C: starts at 6:00PM - Level 1 (30 min blinds), Level 2 (50 min blinds, Level 3 onwards (20 min blinds)
• Flight D: starts at 9:00 PM - Level 1 (20 min blinds), Level 2 (40 min blinds, Level 3 onwards (15 min blinds)

Flight survivors come together on Saturday, January 17 for the final race to the top.

Cronus Golden Window Offered At Flight A and B

For the first time, the GOP has introduced the Cronus Golden Window. Under the watch of Cronus, timing is everything and is rewarded with DOUBLE Bubble Protection. For those that qualify, that means, if you stone cold bubble the Mini Main, you will receive a consolation prize of two Mini Main buy-ins back - 2x NT$ 15,000 (~US$ 475) buy-in -  in the form of GOP tournament credits. 

To be eligible, players need only to sign up before the start of Level 1 of Flight A and/or Flight B. 

If you miss that Golden Window, all is not lost. Players that sign up at Level 1 on those two opening flight will still be eligible for Bubble Protection which awards a consolation prize of one Mini Main buy-in back - NT$ 15,000 (~US$ 475) - in the form of GOP tournament credits.
