The Gauntlets of Eden Awakens

The Gods Of Poker is officially underway at LES A Casino, in Jeju Island, South Korea, with the inaugural Eden Awakens opening its gates on December 5 and running through December 14, 2025. Across the ten days, the festival features 80 tournaments and KR₩ 2 Billion (~USD 1.4 Million) in guarantees. 

For the first time in poker history, an entire schedule is built around a structure that breaks every convention - the newly forged Cronus Structure - GOP’s signature format that closes registration after just two levels. 

Gods Of Poker Trophies

On opening day, the highly-awaited GOP relics were unveiled, and by night’s end the first heroes were crowned, claiming the first Spartan and Shield trophies.

Among the most prized symbols of victory are the GOP Gauntlets. At Eden Awakens, five stand ready to be worn, each one forged for a distinct battleground. Four Gauntlets await the victors of the High Roller realms, while one - revered above all - belongs to the Main Event champion: the Black-and-Gold Gauntlet, the crown of the entire series. 

GOP Main Event

The Gods of Poker Main Event stands as the crown jewel of Eden Awakens featuring a KR₩ 1 Billion (~USD 700,000) guaranteed prize pool. This is the crucible of the series where the last player standing will raise the lone Black-and-Gold Gauntlet trophy as a symbol of dominance in Eden’s garden. 

The GOP Main Event runs from December 8 to 13 with four starting days. The event’s deep structure kicks off with every player on equal footing backed by a massive 120,000 stack, equivalent to 120 big blinds.

• Day 1A: December 8 at 12:30 PM
• Day 1B: December 9 at 12:30 PM
• Day 1C: December 9 at 6:00 PM
• Day 1D/Day 1: December 10 at 2:00 PM

• Day 2: December 12 at 12:45 PM
• Final Day: December 13 at 12:45 PM

All Day 1 flights play to ITM / 13.5 percent of the field. Day 2 plays down to the Final 18 players or Final 9, depending on the number of entries.

The first of the GOP Gauntlets is now in play as the Demigods Challenge opened its gates today. Not crafted for the faint-hearted, this is the most expensive trial of Eden Awakens, demanding a ₩15,500,000 (~USD 10,500) tribute from every challenger. 

The event is currently underway with the series' two-time side event champion, Vamerdino Magsakay, in the field, hunting down the Gauntlet to add to his Spartan and Shield trophies.  Among the players looking to spoil Magsakay's plans and clasp it for themselves are Lester Edoc, Michael Nam, Ryan Plant, John Costiniano, and Hong Jun Zhao.
