At half past noon, the second flight of the 2026 Gods of Poker Manila Main Event is set to kick off and it will feature the deepest structure for poker enthusiasts from near and far. The flagship tournament of the festival dubbed as The Arena of Champions features a buy-in of PHP 82,500 with a staggering PHP 30 Million guarantee and starting stack of 120,000 in chips.
With the innovative Cronus Structure, the late registration is open for a shorter time compared to most other major international brands while maintaining plenty of room to navigate at the poker tables. Flight B takes it to a new level with just one blind increase as the first two 120-minute levels feature blinds of 500-1,000 with a big blind ante of 1,000. They then move up to 1,000-2,000 / 2,000 for the remainder of the day with another two 120-minute and one 60-minute level set to be played.
The registration remains open for the entire duration of Day 1 and prior to tomorrow's Day 2 of this flight, then closes when the cards go back in the air with a 60-minute clock throughout and recommencing blinds of 2,000-4,000/4,000. It is a feast for deep-stack poker lovers and the flight will play down to the money with approximately 13.5% of the field set to advance.
All further three flights will be a one-day affair and follow the same principle to reach the money before bagging and tagging. In yesterday's opening heat, a total of 48 entries emerged and seven players advanced with John Costiniano claiming a staggering 1,773,000 - 89 big blinds at 10,000-20,000/20,000 when the bubble burst.
