Qi Li's nine lives continued but first the hand opened with a 25,000 from Van Xuan Nguyen at under the gun, Lester Edoc called, then Li went all in for his last 39,000. This was enough to be considered a reraise giving Nguyen the green light to raise again. Nguyen four-bet to 100,000 in hopes of isolating but Edoc still called.
At the flop 7 ♠️ 7 ♦️ 8 ♠️, Nguyen continued for 60,000 and again Edoc called to take them to the turn 5 ♠️. Nguyen barreled again, this time with a shove for 191,000, and Edoc folded to give up the challenge for the side pot.
At showdown, Nguyen opened A ♣️ 7 ♣️, Li had the same A ♠️ 7 ♥️, the river was K ♦️ to chop up the main pot.
