Li Qi
After losing sizable portion of his stack on an earlier hand, Qi Li went on a tear, picking up two pots to rise to 92,000. The first pot was up against Kunal Patni with both players facing a board J ♦️ 5 ♥️ J ♣️ 8 ♠️ with 10,000 in the pot.
Li fattened it up with a 3,000 bet and Patni obliged to take them to the river 9 ♣️. Li was unrelenting, firing 15,000 which was enough to induce a fold.
Next hand, Li opened for 28,000 and everyone was shocked asking if it was correct. Li looked at his bet and shook his head “oh mistake”. To his defense, the red chips are very close to the orange chips. Everyone folded.
