Gods of Poker Descends on Incheon, the Prophecy Begins

Gods of Poker Incheon: The Prophecy Unfolds is underway at Paradise City Casino, South Korea's first integrated resort destination, running from today May 15 through May 24, 2026. With 83 events lined up and the first eight underway today, there is no shortage of ways to experience what the brand has to offer.

Highlighting the schedule is the GOP Main Event featuring a KRW 700,000,000 (~USD 480,000) guaranteed prize pool. The flagship tournament takes place from May 18-23 and is one of five coveted Gauntlet trophy events on the calendar.

New to Gods of Poker? What Makes It Different

If you have never played a Gods of Poker event before, it is unlike any series in existence.

GOP runs exclusively on the Cronus Structure, a signature format designed to eliminate parts of tournament poker that waste everyone's time. No dragging through meaningless early levels because registration closes at the end of just two levels!

The result is a more exciting tournament experience from the very first hand. Players sit on a meaningful stack depth and spend more time playing poker that actually matters.

Already at the scene are Rudy Edenata, Yohn Paredes, Joseph Cheong, Nayoung Kim, Jin Bo, and famous Vietnamese poker vlogger Gemmy Tu An.

Gemmy Tu An

Watch out for Gemmy at the tables as she came in 12th at the GOP Taiwan Main Event and she is back in Incheon on a mission. The Vietnamese vlogger is far more than a content creator at the felt. She is a fierce competitor who knows how to navigate a field, and anyone who underestimates her will find out the hard way.

Alfie Adam

Alfie Adam is also back at GOP, and ready to add more hardware to his shelf. Adam already owns 10 GOP trophies across the brand’s first three festivals. He also finished 3rd in the GOP Cambodia Player of the Series race.

Still expected to arrive is a strong Japanese contingent - estimated at around 200 players - with Shoichiro Tamaki among the crowd.

The Gauntlets

Mighty Gauntlets

Five Gauntlet events are woven through the schedule, each one a standalone opportunity to claim one of GOP's most coveted prizes.

The high roller streets are expected to be especially fierce with confirmed players that include Marc Rivera, Rudy Edenata, Kitty Kuo, Hayato Kitajima, Peng Mendoza, Dylan Foster, Lester Edoc, and Wing Yin Lee. More are expected to join as the series progresses.

In that list, only Rivera has previously captured a gauntlet for his victory at the GOP Taiwan Demigods Challenge.

Other Highlight Events

Beyond the Gauntlets, the supporting schedule is packed with events designed to give every player their moment. Players can snag up to 78 trophies - Spartans, Shields, Aphrodite, and the lone Kraken.

The GOP Olympians is up and running with all four flights taking place today. Max registration closes 10:15 PM with the top 13.5% of each flight advancing to the final day's ITM stage.

Aphrodite Events: For the Queens of the Felt

GOP Incheon is giving the ladies four dedicated events across the series. The Aphrodite Events each carry a KRW 330,000 (~USD 225) buy-in and their own unique GOP mirror trophy.

GOP Incheon Player of the Series Race Starts Now

The moment the first card hit the felt at Paradise City Casino, another race began — and this one runs all the way to the final hand of the festival.

Across 83 trophy events, every cash earned at GOP Incheon accumulates points in the hunt for the Player of the Series crown. It is a competition within the competition, and with many events on the schedule, the leaderboard can change with every tournament that concludes.

When the series closes, the top three players with the most points are awarded these prizes below:

• 1st: GOP Crown trophy and USD 1,500 in GOP tournament credits
• 2nd: USD 1,000 in GOP tournament credits
• 3rd: USD 500 in GOP tournament credits
