A man wearing glasses sits intently at a poker table with chips, looking forward.

Alan King Lun Lau

Action opened with a raise of 250,000 from Li Yin and several spots down the orbit, Alan King Lun Lau on the big blind reraised to 1,630,000 leaving himself just 5,000 behind. Yin called and they went hunting at the flop.

When he cards landed Q ♠️ 5 ♥️ 7 ♣️, Lau checked then was immediately put all in by Yin. Hoping for someone at the other table to bust first, Lau used six time-banks before committing his last chip.

Upon revealing, Lau was behind with 3 ♣️ 3 ♦️ to Yin's 8 ♣️ 8 ♠️. The turn 9 ♥️ and river A ♠️ were no help to Lau to wrap up his title bid at a distant 16th place.
