The 106-entry strong field has been cut down to the final 42 players and they are currently mid-way through level eight with blinds of 6,000-12,000 and a big blind ante of 12,000.
Among the last couple of casualties were Benjamin Ebarle, Elmer Kalaquian, Czardy Rivera, and Petteri Miettinen. All players still in contention are hoping to reach the final 15 players in the money.
