Once registration closed, the blinds increased at turbo pace and so did the fallouts. As it trimmed down to two tables, action heated up further with only 14 players set to advance.

In the driver's seat was Eng Loong Choi after he sent Alan King Lun Lau to the rail with pocket aces over pocket nines. At sixteen players remaining, Hogyun Kang was moved to Choi's table where he proceeded to cause havoc to seize the overall chip lead.
Kang first eliminated Chia Hsiang Ko in 16th place with pocket tens over ace-king then took a hefty chunk of Choi's stack with A ♣️ 2 ♠️ trips on a board of 4 ♠️ A ♦️ 10 ♦️ A ♠️ 10 ♣️.
The bubble burst shortly after with Choi crashing on a cooler holding pocket jacks that ran into Hao Lin's pocket aces.
