John Matsuda opened to 400,000 with the A ♣️ Q ♣️ from under the gun and Lester Edoc with the 4 ♥️ 3 ♣️ called in the big blind. Both had a pair on the Q ♥️ 3 ♦️ 2 ♣️ flop and Edoc check-called for 325,000.
The 9 ♥️ turn saw Edoc check again and Matsuda now bet 1,300,000 to take it down.
Edoc then limped the K ♦️ 9 ♦️ in the next hand and Matsuda checked the 10 ♣️ 7 ♦️ to the J ♣️ 9 ♣️ 5 ♦️ flop. Edoc check-called for 270,000 and the 4 ♦️ turn gave Edoc even more equity.
Edoc checked the second street in a row and Matsuda bet 360,000 this time. Edoc came along to the J ♥️ on the river and Edoc checked for the third time. Matsuda pulled the trigger with a third small barrel for 425,000 and was snap-called to give the chips back to Edoc.
