Timing Goes Horribly Wrong for Hong

The action started with a raise to 32,000 by Alexander Allen and John Costiniano three-bet to 78,000 in the cutoff. Ryan Hong in the big blind then four-bet to 205,000 and Allen folded, Costiniano used a time bank and called.

Following the A ♠️ J ♣️ 3 ♠️ flop, Hong used one time bank to then bet 105,000 out of a stack of around 425,000 and Costiniano called.

Both checked the 2 ♦️ turn and Hong jammed the 7 ♣️ on the river. Costiniano bet him into the pot and was shown the K ♣️ Q ♦️ for a bluff, which he had beat with the J ♦️ J ♥️ for a set of jacks.
