Steven
The first casualty of the opening flight has been Steven from Indonesia and he propelled Yichen Zhu back well above the starting stack. Zhu then took on Aleksandr Gorichev and bet the 8 ♣️ 6 ♣️ 4 ♦️ flop for 1,000, Gorichev called.
On the 5 ♣️ turn both checked and Zhu bet the 10 ♦️ river for 3,500, Gorichev folded.
Daniel Peter had been moved to the table and asked why Zhu was allowed to use his phone during the hand.
"Don't worry, I am not cheating," Zhu replied and Gorichev added "he is playing poker [online]".
