Yu Jui Chen
Daeyoung Park raised the button to 1,250,000 with the 9 ♣️ 5 ♦️ and Yu Jui Chen defended his J ♥️ 4 ♥️ to a flop of K ♣️ 4 ♣️ 2 ♣️ . Chen check-called for 1,300,000 and the J ♠️ turn gave him two pair, Park checked behind to see the 3 ♥️ river for free.
Chen bet 3,000,000 and Park folded. After the hand, both players were separated by a single big blind only with at least 62 big blinds each.
Park then limp-called a raise to 1,500,000 with the K ♥️ 8 ♠️ when Chen bumped it up with the Q ♣️ J ♦️ . The A ♠️ Q ♦️ 10 ♠️ flop gave Chen middle pair and a gutshot, while Park called a bet of 1,000,000 to chase the other gutshot.
No change came with the 4 ♦️ turn and they checked to the 8 ♦️ river. Both checked again and Chen claimed the pot.
Both players had agreed to cut the level duration in half with 15 instead of 30 hands per level and the first hand at the new blinds saw Chen open to 1,800,000 with the 9 ♦️ 9 ♣️ . Park three-bet to 4,600,000 with A ♣️ 4 ♥️ and folded to a shove.
