David Vining
Kanghoon Lee
After a failed bluff, Kanghoon Lee was down to 3,500 and managed to double up through Patrik Selin who commented after the hand that Lee had done the same to him at an earlier event.
Lee was all in with 9 ♠️ 8 ♠️ that completed a straight on the board 6 ♠️ 2 ♥️ 10 ♣️ 7 ♥️ 7 ♦️ to survive Selin's K ♦️ 6 ♥️.
Despite the boost, Lee proceeded to fall on the next hand. Selin initiated the opening action with a raise to 2,000, small blind David Vining called, then Lee went all in on the big blind for his last 8,500. Selin tanked then four-bet 27,500, Vining still called for a side pot.
At the flop A ♥️ J ♦️ 10 ♠️ Selin continued for 20,000 and Vining shoved, Selin called.
Kanghoon Lee: 10 ♥️ 8 ♠️
Patrik Selin: 10 ♦️ Tc:
David Vining: A ♣️ Q ♥️
Selin's set dominated and stayed ahead on the turn 6 ♣️ until the river K ♦️ gave Vining broadway sending a shock to the players at the table.
Vining shipped the big pot while Selin plunged and Lee was the first to exit the Flight A field.
